Our story
Heart of the island
Amsterdam Gili Trawangan is tucked into the centre of the island, surrounded by a stunning garden of coconut palms. No cars, no scooters. Just bicycles, horse-drawn cidomo carts, and the kind of slow pace that makes you forget what day it is.
We opened here because Gili T is like nowhere else on earth. The island's car-free calm, the swaying palms outside our terrace, and the warm community spirit made it the perfect home for Amsterdam. Everything on the menu comes from local fishermen and farmers. Our breakfast is legendary, our coffee is single-origin, and the vibe is always good.

Getting here
We're in the heart of Gili Trawangan, surrounded by coconut palms. The island has no motorised vehicles. Arrive by bicycle or hop on a cidomo horse cart from the harbour. Gili T is a 15-minute fast boat from Bangsal Harbour, or accessible via public boats from Teluk Nare and Senggigi.
